There are a few types of scholarships available for prospective and current students at Northland Community & Technical College. Due to differences in timing for these awards, the application process is slightly different for each type.

1. Fall and Spring Semester Scholarships – for all incoming and returning students; the application is open in March/April for the fall semester and October/November for spring semester. Click here for more information.

2. Early Recruitment Scholarships – also known as “The Golden Ticket” Scholarship is only for high school seniors; the application is open year-round, but the recipients are selected and notified in February. Recipients get a scholarship worth the cost of one three-credit class at Northland given in the spring semester of their second year. Click here for more information.

3. Workforce Development Scholarships – for Minnesota residents starting programs in high-demand career fields; the application is open year-round, but the recipients are selected and notified in August. Click here for more information.

4. Other Scholarships – students are encouraged to apply for other scholarships available in their communities, from businesses, and from professional organizations in their future industries.
