Workforce Development Scholarship
Workforce Development Scholarships were established by the Minnesota State Legislature to encourage people to begin programs that lead to employment in high-demand career fields in the state of Minnesota.
Amount:
Multiple awards of $2,500 per student with $1,250 given each semester
Qualifications:
For new students entering programs determined in high demand by DEED. Must be a Minnesota resident taking at least 9 credits or more at Northland. Must apply with the specific Workforce Development Scholarship application found on the NCTC Foundation website here.
Semester:
Selected in the Fall semester, but can renew in spring and for a second year if maintaining qualifications.
