Russell H. Beier Student Award
Established in honor of Russell Beier, first director of Northland’s East Grand Forks campus (from 1971-1983).

Qualifications:
This is a student award for a graduating student who exemplifies the following characteristics:
1. A student that possesses a high degree of motivation for successful completion of their program.
2. A student that exhibits a commitment to their chosen career through daily classroom and lab performance.
3. A student that works up to and beyond their potential.
4. A student that has shown a significant, positive change in personality, cooperation and maturity. One that has “blossomed” since they have enrolled in a program at the Northland Community and Technical College-East Grand Forks.
Students are nominated by faculty members and selected by the EGF Academic Leadership team (including the faculty chairs).
