Established by Lowell & Marge Swenson who have been generous contributors to Northland and the surrounding communities.

Amount:
Multiple awards of $1,000/semester for up to four semesters. Half of the awards go to Liberal Arts students and half to students in technical programs.

Qualifications:
For incoming, graduating seniors who will be full-time students at Northland’s TRF campus. Must be a Northwest Minnesota resident. Liberal Arts students must have a 3.0 or higher GPA, and Technical Program students must have a 2.5 or higher GPA. This scholarship renews if the student maintains a 3.25 term GPA or higher.

Awarded in fall of the first year, but renewable for three more semesters
